Students will receive an organized college list template with their top 3 schools, a structured timeline, and guidance throughout their private sessions. Get help with resources, organization, additional research, and other requests as needed. Leave the consultation with a customized action plan on next steps and an overview of what to focus your 3 follow-up sessions on.

This package is perfect for students who need some guidance on getting started, are motivated to do most of the work, but want to check-in and ask questions along the way.

Start with our 90-minute consultation, then let our college advisor do the leg-work for you!

Enjoy direct access to our college advisor via face-to-face or virtual meetings, phone calls, and emails for a 6-month period. Our college advisor will help with any of your needs, including but not limited to: complete college list, college advising timeline, access to tools and resources to stay organized, in-depth research for specific program needs and scholarship and financial aid needs, assistance with application needs, help with supplemental writing, etc.

This service is ideal for students who may not have the time or discipline to do the necessary research and stay organized, and who may need more support throughout the college admissions process.

The college essay is an essential, yet often daunting task for college applicants. More Than a Teacher presents our tested essay workshop with 1-on-1 private sessions to polish each student’s essays as part of our comprehensive package. Have supplemental writing assignments? We can help with those too!

Cancellation Policy

We understand that students may need to cancel an appointment due to scheduling conflicts, illness, etc. If you elect to cancel an appointment, please contact our office at (512) 453-7272 during our regularly scheduled business hours*, at least 24 hours before your appointment. Any cancellations or modifications after this deadline will incur a charge equal to that of the scheduled appointment.

*PLEASE NOTE: Business hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00a-6:00p, excluding holidays. To avoid a cancellation fee, weekend and Monday appointments must be cancelled the Friday before the appointment.
